734 photos later

We had no power for most of the day so in between playing, seeing a snake, and just the general life of the Pomeroy household we had a bit of an impromptu photoshoot. Yep took over 700 photos, played with settings ALOT, generally had lots of fun. While they aren't the best. I do love them regardless, and really what fun is it if you can't just play. All natural light and untouched :) geez I'm sooooo lazy to do that. Look how dark Char's hair looks in that other photo. She's a little like me, major natural highlights. There is more photos here if you want a look. Blogger is being a pain and not wanting me to share anymore.

This photo was taken by Zac, took quiet a few more of Charlotte, Dea and even his puppy. Think he's a photographer in the making :)

So that was our day, tomorrow we are suppose to be heading to the beach :) yay, fun. Unless we get rained out. LOL. yep I did say rain but knowing our luck it'll stop in about 5 minutes.

Have a fab weekend whatever you do.

Baking, CCG#137, scrapping and stuff :)

Charlotte made her own biscuits, they had to be Mini Marshmellows. lol. way too cute and getting soooo clever.

My weakness - cookie batter......... mmmmmmmm

The Finished Product.....

Double Choc Chip Macadamia Cookies

125grams Butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup castor sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups S.R flour
3/4 cup of choc chips
1/2 cup white choc melts (broken roughly)
1/3 cup macadamias (roughly chopped)

Beat butter and sugar til light and fluffy
Add vanilla and egg and mix well
Gentle stir in the flour
Add choc chips, white choc melts, and macadamias
Place teaspoons of mixture on tray
Bake in moderate oven 15 or so minutes (I had to for longer)

mmmmm, enjoy :)

Color Combos #137 been awhile since I played, was quiet a challenge for me having to use such earthy colours.

Kat and I had a little CC last night. Always so much fun and I managed these three quick layouts
View - Bit Lou inspired :) played with the photo in Photoshop, and printed straight on the card.

No Not the Mud- older pics of Charlotte, playing around with some paint, me not her.

Baby Baby Bounce - pulling out some older Pink Paislee papers, love how you can mix and match :)

Little Dea :)

These kids of mine have taken to really liking to use the sewing machine. Charlotte pretty good with it, watching her fingers and knowing that you just can't stop and try and pull your paper out, but this Zac hmmmmm, bit of a devil he is, I actually caught him the other day plugging the machine in himself and trying to sew.

Well that's it for the time being.

Oh I made a mini Album :)

Finally decided to pull out some wedding pics and put them together in an album and seeing as I didn't have an album to use I had to make this one, it's corrugated cardboard, chipboard and transparency. Finger was a little sore from my knife after cutting that chippy, I have to wonder why I just didn't go for straight edges. lol.

Just using ALOT of Websters. So beautiful and easy to use :) and some Scrapware, Prima and Tim Holtz products (got the most amazing TH stamps the other weekend, GORGEOUS)

So thanks for looking......

Bit of a nothing sort of week.

Mad crazy kids

Mummy feeling shit with a migraine

Dea walking more and more, think he's upto about 30 steps.

Nothing done scrapping wise, well nothing that is showable, got my Scrapbook Mag article finished and need to get started on one for Scrapbooking Memories.

Too much food consumed, especially chocolate, might explain the headache.

No exercise except for our daily walk

No baking this week :(

Plenty of water balloons and water fights

Lots of lego time

Way too much drawing and painting with the kids

Ohhhh made Layout of the Week at A Million Memories so fun. LOVE Larissa's work to so this just makes it super special.

Will let you know who get's my Inspiration Board in the next couple of days, eyes are going blurry need to get off here.
